As the political and social environment have continued to become more and more fractioned, extremist, and hostile, I felt that the simple common sense ideas were being thrown to the wayside. Simple creative solutions are not being considered that could dramatically change the circumstances. Politicians are making decisions based upon flawed theories and are not considering the long-term impact of short-term decisions.

Common sense has become an oxymoron. Polarization has become the norm and there are fewer and fewer voices of reason. The doom and gloom message has become the defacto song because it sells more not because it is the right message to share.

For that purpose I am aggregating some of the interesting lessons and ideas that I have encountered. We are in challenging times but that doesn't mean we should be distraught. Opportunity abounds. We have also never lived in times with greater potential.

In this blog I intend to explain issues that are complex or challenging presenting both sides of the argument (I believe you need to understand both sides of an argument before you can reasonably form your own opinion). I want to share exciting interesting new ideas. I love to read and will share the things that I am learning. Occasionally, I will also share lessons learned in my life.

Of course we are all busier than we should be so I will try to keep each entry short and simple. I plan to have an entry every other week. I hope you enjoy. Please feel free to submit topic ideas. I hope you enjoy.
